Constructive feedback please!
Hi all - I have my 2nd market tomorrow and the first one with 2 tables, gazebo, etc. I had a dry run last night and would love some constructive feedback on improvements to the look. I’ve ordered some battery powered fairy lights for the gazebo to brighten it up a bit. The layout is ok but I’m not 100% happy with it. Does anyone have any thoughts on if it’s better to group by colour or function? Ie practical things together then decorative things together or does it not really matter? This is a massive learning curve for me so your thoughts would be appreciated! 😊 Also a massive shout out to Maxine at Collypit Pottery for her wuuurm tutorial and Audrey Lynn Studios for the bee bowls and everyone else for the glaze inspirations!
Constructive feedback please!
@Lindsey Mann I think it looks great! As Pat says I love the way you have displayed the spoon rests and of course I love the Wuuuurms!! 🥰
More hugs!
I had the pleasure and honor of meeting @Lori Turner , her hubby Tim, and @Kendall Carpenter today. Plus, Lori and I will be part of one of Kendall's upcoming videos! It was a great day!
More hugs!
Lovely photo ❤️
Cow Dish
First off, my husband grew up on a Dairy & Pig farm, when I showed him the little wavy dish he said" I really like that" and then followed up later with "do you know what it reminds me of" ? ? ? "a cows placenta" eeeeeuuuuu how gross is that?
Cow Dish
It’s a stunningly beautiful bowl! I can’t comment on it looking like a cows placenta because I’ve never seen one, 😳 but it did make me laugh out loud when I read your post. 🤣🤣🐄 If it does look like that, as @Renée Glasgow says you could start a whole new trend of Placenta bowls they would be a huge hit! 😂
Has anyone tried micaceous clay?
Hello, I wanted to know if any of you have tried to use Micaceous clay? Personally, I love working with it. If you look closely at the chiminea. You can see the natural sparkle in the clay body.
Has anyone tried micaceous clay?
I’ve no heard of that clay before @Brenda Davis but as Suza says it looks pretty.
The Fountain project
So I wanted to make it a bit lighter and add more design to it.. but the new one was top heavy, so had to add a base donut of clay to keep it from tipping backwards ...New one at 11 inches instead of 9 inches ...so much for lighter... I'll fire them both if they make it that far.😄
The Fountain project
@Lee Ann Riddle I love these, lots of character the frog on the top looks great. They will be amazing when finished, looking forward to following the progress.
@Lee Ann Riddle Ha ha, I love this! You must have the AI frog expert in your computer!!! 😂
