I am 70 years old today and it is also my 46th wedding anniversary. I am loving my new adventures which I originally embarked upon because I sold my legal practice 3 years ago and was working until 1 year ago. The deal was I work with the new partner but the whole ethos of the company was changed with time limits and fees being pushed up. My practice was all female and suddenly I had a man watching me and criticising my running of the office as too lax. I had been profitable for 27 years and my staff had all been with me for over 10 years. I finished my legal career having lost all confidence and having lost the real me. Suffice to say I have been investigating the authentic me and learning that my spirituality and sense of self had disappeared but was not gone. I have taken up kundalini and yin yoga, attended pujas and had ginger baths. I also had reiki . My reiki practitioner said I was so receptive that I should train. I have taken up meditation and investigated my felt sense. I am on a long adventure for my life going forward. The divine feminine within me is driving me on. I am excited to be here

Does anyone have any recommendations on books, articles as I enter this community?Best way to encourage myself to embrace the supernatural and spiritual realm so I hear and see more clearly?

Never practiced, never experienced, but have experience with various martial arts and yoga dealing with movement of kundalini, chi, etc. I've never experienced Reiki; curious to learn about people's experiences as I 1st encountered a practitioner as I traveled through Mexico for 9 months and triggered my curiosity. - 3 things I would like from the community: - Origin stories and opinions about what makes Reiki great to you, so I can decide more about the path I'd like to take - Connection to consider collaborations as I develop my wellness coaching business with retreats and workshops - Recommendations to people who may help me grow further as I start my business.

Hi everyone, I’m new here and also new to Reiki. I obviously know what it’s all about, but now I am interested in leaning it myself in depth. I’m looking forward to learn a lot with this course and discover everything about this wonderful technique, and also to make new friends with the same interests.
