Currently, in 𝗗𝗗𝗠 𝗩𝗜𝗣, we're studying Seinfeld — Season 1, Episode 1, “The Seinfeld Chronicles”, aka Good News, Bad News. There’s a scene where George says: “Because filth is good! What do you think, rock stars have sponges and 𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗮 lying around the bathroom?” Today, I made a post announcing my LME Speaking/Listening class( those are our old assignments.) Our Mentor, @Mina Min is also a DDM VIP member, and she said she caught the word 𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗮 while doing the dictation because she had learned it before in one of our LME Speaking/Listening assignments. I was like: “Good job! That’s how you do it!” 👏 And then I thought, Wait a minute… I’ve heard this word before too. But where? 🤔 I was trying to remember all day long. And then… BOOM! 💥 𝗗𝗗𝗠 𝟴𝟭𝟲! Back in 2022, in DDM 816, we studied Seinfeld: “The Pothole” (Season 8, Episode 16). There was a scene in the janitor’s room where Kramer spilled 𝗮𝗺𝗺𝗼𝗻𝗶𝗮. So now I think I’m going to remember this word forever. 😂 And THAT is why Seinfeld is excellent for studying English. You hear a word. You learn it. You hear it again months or even years later. You connect the dots. And suddenly, the word sticks. 𝗜𝗧'𝗦 𝗕𝗘𝗘𝗡 𝗛𝗔𝗣𝗣𝗘𝗡𝗜𝗡𝗚 𝗧𝗢 𝗠𝗘 𝗔𝗟𝗟 𝗧𝗛𝗘 𝗧𝗜𝗠𝗘 𝗦𝗜𝗡𝗖𝗘 𝗜 𝗝𝗢𝗜𝗡𝗘𝗗 𝗗𝗗𝗠! That’s also why DDM VIP is essentially based on Seinfeld. We keep coming back to the same characters, situations, expressions, and vocabulary — and those connections add up. People often ask me: “How can I improve my vocabulary?” My answer? 👉 Join DDM VIP, and you’ll be golden. 😎 WE LEARN FROM EACH OTHER!
