@Alyssa Furukawa Also so sorry you were sick! Doesn't sound fun at all.
I don’t share this very often…
Having a farm means some days I work physically hard. I don’t share this very often because it’s not all that interesting to most people and I’m not the best at it but I also trim my horses hooves. It’s one of the most physical jobs I do because the horses are not always helpful, I have to do it quickly and I need to update some of my tools. Anyway, I’m sharing here because I count it as a fitness win. Tomorrow I will know all of the muscles I’ve worked. 😁💪 I also have two more horses to do. Probably do them next weekend. In the past I used to do all of them in one day. I’ve decided to pace myself lately.

Welcome ladies!!!
Habit Builder Challenge.DAY 5. (@all: jump in on any day!)
Where can you leverage habit stacking so effort feels easier? I like to think of it like a snowball that quietly grows bigger, stronger, and gains momentum with more ease over time. This keeps consistency , the queen of results, high, while keeping the friction to start, low. For example: If you already go for a walk, can you add a few lunges or jumps? If you already check your phone first thing in the morning, can your lock screen become a reminder or affirmation to own your day and stay in the driver’s seat? So far we’ve leveraged: • Identity (your why) • Environment cues • Proactive planning Where can you stack a desired habit onto an existing one?

@Alyssa Furukawa Ok good to know.
Habits Challenge. DAY 3. "Cue yourself proactively" (@all: just jump in!)
We can't always "control" our environment particularly when environment = other people. WE CAN set cues in our environment to set ourselves up for success. This even includes removing cues. For example, removing visible candy + cookies from sight and/or leaving a note, a pair of shoes, a water bottle to cue the behavior we want to follow through and automate. Today is Wed, day 3 of the challege, my scheduled day for 20 seconds of 95% effort "sprints with the purpose of maintaining physical power. My cue is an alarm on my phone. When it goes off, no thinking, just doing. For someone else, the cue may be a note on your computer to give your eyes a break, take a mindful breath and do a body scan. What's your cue today?

My cue is to put my weighted vest near the back door where I go out to do the chores. I sometimes for get to put it on.

@Alyssa Furukawa I’ve noticed it’s a little more work but not so much that I’m exhausted which is good. I don’t like to come from doing chores exhausted. 😊
