Help me welcome Liane!
Welcome @Liane Higa : SLP (speech language pathologist), adjunct professor, mother, dreamer, and start-up venturer. Always brainstorming, researching, listening, creating, and improving. ๐Ÿ‘‹ Introduce yourself below! Tell us: โ€ข Where youโ€™re from โ€ข What's your favorite type of exercise? โ€ข Favorite wellness practice youโ€™re loving lately? (Can be as simple as breath or 5 second thinking frameworks) I'm really looking forward to the creation of your reward chart log!! I know there are a bunch of women here with creative, ADHD tendency brains who struggle with consistency. We can definitely benefit from visual charts to bridge the gap between wanting to do something and actually doing it- over and over!

@Zona Lord I had the same Question about swallowing too!! Bc the more I focus on โ€œnot swallowingโ€, the more I want to swallow!

@Liane Higa ok maybe Iโ€™ll try it. I came down with a nasty upper respiratory infection and am impatient to get well. Keep you posted.

@Zona Lord Now this is really fascinating! If you don't mind sharing your journeys here too, I think it would be beneficial for whoever gets to read! Lots of strong opinions from folks who mostly only have anecdotal info. Makes sense that the med, at a specific dose, complimentary to lifestyle and training, can actually enhance performance! It's more of playing "offense" using the GLP-1 rather than defense (trying not to lose muscle). I'll share this with my hubs. He was a triathlete but stopped once the kids came.

@Zona Lord oh yes to the opinions! I can see โ€ฆ about your choice not to share. I tend to be very transparent about trying โ€œalternativeโ€ things. In the past, I used to feel criticized/wrong when family and friends would not give me approval. Iโ€™ve been working through it and itโ€™s been liberating. But comments from those who donโ€™t know me wellโ€ฆ. I think I need to be like you folks and choose to share less which is not my default. ๐Ÿ˜†

I hope more workplaces start adopting and encouraging these types of practices!
