Shameless Ask: Members from U.S., your Actions Wanted
As you probably know, I published the book I have been working on for the last few months this week. For me, primarily, it is not a book for earning royalties, but a guide to a part of the new economy emerging right before our eyes. In some way, it's a trial balloon to test whether there is a space for such a type of book on the market. As you can imagine, I would be happy to get feedback from the target audience, and luckily enough, the target audience is you. If you want to give your input and you have Amazon Prime for free delivery, I would be more than happy to cover the cost of the book via PayPal. Shoot me a message if you're down to it. Why don't I just publish the link? It's for the next few weeks. Today, I want to get private feedback to understand whether it was worth it.

The Formatting Decision That Costs Publishers the Most Time
For experienced publishers, formatting mistakes rarely come from ignorance. They come from assumptions. Assuming a file that worked once will work again. Assuming Amazon specs have not changed. Assuming a clean PDF on screen will behave the same in print. Most production delays I see happen at the handoff point. The manuscript is final, but trim size, margins, bleed, or image resolution were decided too late. Fixes then cascade across the interior and force re-exports, rechecks, and resubmissions. At scale, formatting is not a design task. It is a systems decision. Here’s the question I’m curious about: When something goes wrong at the print stage, where do you usually see the breakdown happen first? File setup, spec assumptions, or final QC?

Guided journal
Hi everyone! I’m currently working on my book-journal called "Secure Insecurities." It’s a project about our insecurities and how to turn them into your personal strength. And I really need your help with the "journaling" part. To be honest, I rarely use diaries myself because they don’t really suit me and I don’t quite understand what makes people keep coming back to their entries day after day. I’ve already prepared reflection questions for each chapter, but I want the format to be as comfortable as possible. If you have experience with journaling, could you please share what attracts you the most? Is it just beautiful look or a clear structure or maybe lot of space for writing? What do you value most in these kinds of books? Like, what keeps you motivated to open your diary on the second, third, or fifth day without giving up? I would really appreciate your help!

Someone copied my cover 1:1
Hello all, I just wondered why my bestselling book (a LC journal) doesn't sell as good as I want it to. Some research found, that actually someone copied my cover and a+ content almost 1:1. How would you procede in such a case? My book was published in June 24, the copycat on Jan 8, 2026.
