Personally I prefer to watch the videos on my laptop and make notes to take with me to the stables, but I'm not much into smart phones. I only use my phone to message and take pictures of Ronnie 😆 I get that most other people would use their phone though 🫶
🐴 GET GOOD HORSEMANSHIP TIP 15.
✨Knowing when to stop/quit asking is a skill in its own right. The moment your horse truly understands, even if it’s small - is often the best place to end. One clear try, acknowledged well, builds more confidence than pushing for five more repetitions. Stopping at the right time protects motivation. It tells the horse, “That was it. You found it.” Progress doesn’t only come from doing more. It comes from recognising when enough has landed. It does not mean you cannot go and work/play/train with something else - it means you give that particular subject time to sink in. 👉 Question: Where might you Get Good at ending a session sooner - instead of squeezing for more? Thanks for this reminder. I definitely have a tendency to ask for more. I must be mindful of this! "You found it" - that's a really helpful way to think of it 🫶 It will also help me to know when to reward, rather than rewarding too early and then ending up giving too many treats, which, although I find treats helpful, I do know they distract Ronnie if I'm not careful how I use them 🙊

@Zoë Coade I love how thinking of it as 'finding it' hints of it being a game of curiosity for the horse, seeking out the answer - real experiential learning 🤩
💛 Benny Doesn’t Play With The Power Ball…
… He IS the Power Ball. ✨ Too funny not to share here 🤣 OMG that face 😭😂 Fully blown alter ego activated - releasing the beast. 🤭 It’s that same face when your inner gym bro takes over. Therapist: “And when did this personality emerge?” Me: “The day he met the Power Ball.” 🤣🐴✨🫶 Got any funny pics of your fur babies? Drop them below 👇

⭐️ If My Horses Could Review Me…
Apparently they’ve been talking. 🫣 🐴 Lenny’s Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️“Consistent. Fair. Occasionally too many kisses on my nose.” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“Good at moving my feet before asking me in. I respect that.” ⭐️“Still insists I don’t need to lick everything.” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“Understands my brain. Lets me think. Doesn’t panic when I have opinions.” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“Strong leadership. Clear boundaries. Would circle around again.” 🦄 Benjamin’s Review: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“Calls me Prince. Accurate.” ⭐️⭐️⭐️“Says I’m small. I am powerful.” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“Good scratch placement. Appreciates my floof.” ⭐️“Back-breaker comment unnecessary.” ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️“Calm after spooks. Returns me to safety quickly.” ⭐️⭐️“Very invested in my shoulders and posture. Slightly obsessed.” Alright…your turn. 🤣 What are your horses saying about you? 🐴✨🫶 P.S. Attached is a little vid of my kids saying hi yesterday during our first spring day and break in the rubbish weather - was 16 degrees 🥰

Could be even more." ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Responds with appropriate enthusiasm when I do something I think is clever." ⭐⭐⭐⭐ "Willing to hand feed me hay because I’m cute. Doesn't always pick out the sweetest bits though." ⭐⭐⭐ "Buys me more rugs than she has clothes. Not always appreciated." ⭐ "Insists on brushing my hair but I like it wild." ⭐⭐ "Can’t resist trying to rub my fluffy forehead. Draw your horse- connection🐴
I did a self- exercise once around just being, seeing, observing my horses. I wanted to really see them with my eyes. I am no artist, but I chose to draw one and I painted another... I sat, quietly for hours just observing their eyes, mouths, their mane, their colours. How I saw them🤍 We bonded during that time as I asked for nothing. I just sat with them, soft music playing whilst they watched me too... occasionally coming over to nudge me, smell me, breathe over me🤍 Just wanted to share. Try it. Would be amazing to create our own gallery🐴🫶

Hi, I'm Cheg. I got back into the horse thing after a really long break and I'm keen to learn.
