Sent a v4 project finally
Managed to complete a v4 I've been working on for 3 weeks and the part that was giving me the most issues was the final hold 😅 was a nice mix of basics with a small Dyno, dead point grab into a bump up to the final hold with the key being holding tension with my right foot into weight manipulation to match on the final hold

Sick!
What the hell? How do?
Roof pulls are always my weakness. There's no feet? Taller people reach out usable part of that side pull. Stronger people campus. I'm neither taller or stronger. My only thoughts were to maybe lock off next time, but every ounce of my being is required to keep the body tension that keeps my feet stuck in that wall. Anything for me?

Nice you’re so close on that move. I like that you’re twisting your torso towards the hold that maximizing your reach with that left arm straight. From this angle, if you don’t want to drop feet, locking off/ bending the left arm more is probably the move, that being said…. It’s really tough to do basically a one arm half pull up from there. Instead I would use momentum and 1. Pull up with both arms on the hold quickly 2. Release the right hand and twist 3. Try to keep that momentum while bending the left elbow and bringing the hand closer to the body 4. Reach the hand as far up as possible So pull (both hands) release and twist, “lock off” or bend at the left elbow, shoot up to the hold… Also there’s a bunch of tips you can use in my “projecting” section if you click on the classroom section in this app!
Photos of you climbing gym!!
I’d love to see photos of some of your climbing gyms!! I’ve been traveling a bunch over the last 6 months so I don’t really have a “home” gym right now, but this is the one that I climbed the most at over the last year, grand river rocks in Kitchener Ontario. If you have pictures of your feel free to share them in the comments! Always like seeing different ones!

What shoes does everyone rock!?
These were my main shoes last year, but I used to wear Vapor’s for the first 5 or so years indoor and outdoor! Left to right TC pros (for crack climbing) 5.10 mocsassains (slip on warm up/ chill shoes) Skwamas (my try hard shoe) I’ve been using unparalleled Quincy’s for the last 5 or so months and really liking them too. Curious what everyone else is wearing??
