Beta Book Readers
Hello everyone, About 5 months ago, I had a breakup with what I thought was 'The One.' She is smart, funny, beautiful. I wrote her letters, because sometimes there was no other way to express my emotions. When things ended, I wasn't myself, and I'm still not. But a couple months ago I decided to channel that pain into creativity, and I have been working on writing a short novel about what happened. If you want to read it and give feedback on what I have so far, I'm gonna link a google doc down below. It would mean the world to me if you would take a look at it. https://docs.google.com/document/d/1oquAwodbPZzF7WIiMuX68HdtETuWsvgN1ko6V85h2VU/edit?tab=t.0

Hey there
Hey all! I’m James, writing dark fantasy romance and fairytale re-tellings. Right now I’m working on the second draft edit of a dark urban fantasy romance novel title "Invitation to The Wild," which I plan to turn into a series. This month I want to get more of my edits done and possibly someone to beta-read the first draft (to give me outside thoughts) and my second draft edits as I do them. I'm also currently a full time special education major, working full time in special education, and a parent, so I don't always feel like i have the time to do this stuff. I'm working on it though, surviving 💪

Hey, I totally get that. Honestly, before anything else, I would genuinely love to beta read the book. I am a book lover first, and dark romance especially needs the right feel and pacing, so I like to experience the story.
A life changing book titled SCAR
SCENE ONE : THE MIRROR Shade had learned to avoid mirrors. Not because she disliked her face, but because mirrors remembered too much. That morning, however, she stood before one longer than usual. The room was quiet, wrapped in early light, yet her mind was restless. Her fingers hovered, then gently traced the scar that ran across her skin a silent witness to a past she never asked for....
