Hello everyone, About 5 months ago, I had a breakup with what I thought was 'The One.' She is smart, funny, beautiful. I wrote her letters, because sometimes there was no other way to express my emotions. When things ended, I wasn't myself, and I'm still not. But a couple months ago I decided to channel that pain into creativity, and I have been working on writing a short novel about what happened. I recently participated in a short fiction contest (not the big one with my Romance story), and I was hoping somebody could read it and give me some feedback. The contest is kind of fun, and they do several throughout the year. The next one starts February 3rd. The link will also give you access to more information in case you want to try it out. I’ve been meaning to get an actual picture of my desk to replace the placeholder one on the group’s About page forever, and I’ve finally gotten around to it! However, I want y’all’s feedback - do you like the old or new one better? Or should I try something else?
