A bit of a situation...
So I have a weird situation. My dad (birth dad) died today. I didn't get to know him until I was older (at 12 y/o actually). It's a sad day. He wasn't "that" old. My "dad" (who adopted me at the age of two), is also quite old and is "near" the end. He's 85. Yes, two dads! Anyway...I will be a bit OUT of WORK for several days to honor my birth dad. I'm leaving on the 10th and won't be back until the 14th. So DDM and PIRF lessons might get a bit OUT OF SCHEDULE. I sincerely apologize for this. And I regrettably worry that this might happen again soon. I hope you will understand the weird situation I'm in. Don't get divorced. Stick it through. Respect and appreciation is more important than love. CS

@Shane Peterson I’m so sorry for your loss.It really is such a strange and unexpected situation.It almost sounds like something out of a TV drama — your biological father suddenly appearing when you were young. I can easily imagine how confusing and even embarrassing that must have been to hear. In Japan, we have a saying: “A real parent is not as important as a foster parent.” But.. I don’t quite agree with that. Your blood, your body, and even your inner spirit are all connected to your biological father.This may be a time to quietly cherish and embrace that connection.🙏

@Serge Gray Tbilisi—what a beautiful ancient city! I saw you went to Georgia for vacation last year. Is that the same place, or somewhere different? Such a wonderful destination, and the hot springs are really impressive. Actually, sulfur hot springs are known to be good for your health. They’re said to help with high blood pressure, diabetes, rheumatism, as well as chronic joint pain and skin conditions. And in some places, people even drink the hot spring water as a way to stay healthy. That custom is also common at hot spring resorts in Japan. Have you tried both bathing in it and drinking it? By the way, that beautiful girl drinking hot spring water from the faucet—she’s your daughter, right?
