A cute bag. I followed a tutorial for a round bag by Crafty Turtle on YouTube. I tweaked my design to include 2 handles instead of just the one she adds. I've also added a drawstring so the bag can be cinched closed. The straps are crochet chains plaited together, I like these as they're less stretchy than a plain knit or crochet. I added lace to the top to finish it off. I'm really pleased with how it looks. I will definitely make more of these. The yarn is an acrylic/wool mix aran and it was an absolute nightmare to start with. It was creating lots of tucked stitches. I cured it by running the yarn through folded up baby wipes! It smoothed the napp and the pulling the yarn through obviously stretched it a little. It went from impossible to use to ok to use by going slow 😁

That is fabulous
My project this week-end!
My project this week-end is no project, becauseI have a cold, I must have a little fever I come all sweaty from one moment to the next. I drink orange juice, I do a little internet, I look at projects to be carried out, but my brain is in the fog and it's not going well at this time, not to mention that I still have the tissue paper in my nose. Often we believe that when we are sick, a small cold, we see being able to advance our projects, no we do not have the misery to put one foot in front of the other, so the projects even less.

I hope you feel better soon x
Putting it together
This might be awhile. lol. I’m doing mattress stitch between panels. The panels are 190 rows each, and I have 5 panels. I know that’s not much, but my hands cramp up and go numb after a short time. The darning needle is at least thicker and easier to hold than a regular needle and thread. However… I’ve got it started and I’m excited to get it finished! Might be several days, but I’ll get there!
