New week!
Happy Monday! Off work today, so I knew I’d be able to get a workout in this morning. Riley slept really good, woke up around 2:30/3ish. She ended up falling asleep before 3:30, so I laid back down in bed until 4, and got up and worked out. My body just needed that extra 20lbs mins to reset. Did a workout yesterday too! It’s feeling so good to get back into working out and seeing what my body can do. Still a long way to go, but it’s a start. Next week I have my follow up appt with my weight management Dr. I’m nervous for him to see the number on the scale, but I also know he will recognize that I went through an entire pregnancy and trying to get back on track. It’s been almost a year since I’ve seen him, so it’ll be good to follow up. Yesterday, we went to my cousins little boys birthday party. David had a blast! The boys are only a little over a year apart, and our daughters are about 3 months apart. The girls finally got to meet each other, although they have no idea what was going on! Haha

It’s Saturday! Riley woke up at 3am-ish. So, I figured I would stay up and get my workout done once she was settled again. Second day of Dig In and it’s still no joke! I’m still finding it hard to get comfortable in some moves that I know I was doing so well this time last year. But, again, giving myself grace as I’ll get back to that again, soon. My goal is still to get back to my prepregnancy weight by the end of the year. It’ll be hard, but I’ve done hard things before. Anyways, I feel like I’m getting stronger again. I’m starting to lift heavier weights and focusing on the engaging the muscles during the workout. I’ve noticed a difference. My wrist isn’t as sore as it was a few weeks ago, and I’ve been able to hold a bear for longer. Still a work in progress.

I have been bad about getting in here to check in. Saturday - I took the time to stretch everything out. Monday - I pickrd back up the calendar with Total Body. Tuesday - I did lower body. I am still feeling it today. Wednesday - Of course was upper body. I am luck that I could pick Caitlynn that night. Thursday - My proudest day yet. I got up early but as I was drinking my energize Caitlynn woke up. I could have just given up and not done my workout for the day since my schedule did allow but I wanted to keep my promise. I got her set with a clean diaper and snacks and both of us went down stairs. It wasn't perfect and definitely did crunches with her sitting on my stomach but I got it done. It felt so good to show her having a healthy relationship with taking care of myself. I have way more confidence to do it again now. Also if anyone has any tips for a toddler getting up early I am open to them. Her schedule shifted this weekend to waking up before 6 am. This momma is tired.

Aw poor little girl! She looks super tired. Sounds like she might be going through a growth spurt. Take a deep breath! It’s hard with the sleep schedule with little ones, just know it’ll pass. We’re all In this together!
Friday!
Got my workout in this morning 💪🏼 I might be able to make these mornings work on the days I’m working from home… we will see how that goes 😆🤪 Tried Dig In this morning. Felt good! Different moves, but definitely a shorter workout. Not sure how I feel about the insanity moves, but we will see.

Another day
Happy Thursday! Was able to get a workout in this morning. Dave isn’t feeling too good and is staying home, so I don’t feel so rushed to get the kids ready for the day. I ask must’ve fell asleep in Riley’s room with her and I in the chair last night… so we woke up at 3:30 realizing that lol Just finished the no excuses bonus workouts in Dig Deeper! They are still no joke even with being a shorter time. Hoping to continue doing 3-4 workouts each week.
