welcome @Emmanuel Kaku
Long time coming! Finally joined!!
Hello everyone! Been wanting to join this community for far too long. I've been in the Free Version of the Dev Mastery community and decided I wanted to take things serious. I don't just want to be an mediocre developer. I actually want to be able to build real world projects that make a change and impact. I've got a bit of experience already with coding projects ( i own an agency and have served a couple clients) I'm looking to grow my skills here as a developer/freelancer/biz owner as much as I can. I know @Hayk Simonyan will overdeliver (he always does). Glad to finally be in here and excited to meet new people!

How to Write Better Code Without Losing Speed
This video answers a question I’ve heard from several of you, most recently from @Aqeel Ahmad in his current role, which is: Trying to write cleaner, well-structured code... but it’s making you slower. Is that normal? If you’re trying to level up your code quality — better architecture, naming, scalability — but feeling like it kills your speed, this is for you. Watch this if you're: - Overthinking the structure and slowing down - Wondering if you're being too much of a perfectionist - Trying to balance fast delivery with clean practices - Feeling stuck or overwhelmed while leveling up This is a very normal part of growth, and I explain why it gets better. Here’s the video → https://youtu.be/4OmIpBR0nps?views Drop your thoughts or related questions below the video.

Struggling with something lately.... D':
Okay so… bit of a different post today. I’ve been feeling a bit stuck as a software engineer lately — and I’d love to hear if anyone else has been through this. See, I’ve been actively trying to improve the structure and quality of my code — you know, cleaner architecture, better patterns, proper naming, scalability in mind — all that good stuff. But the moment I do that, my speed drops drastically. Managing things on a broader scope, keeping everything tight and in check, and still trying to move fast… it just gets overwhelming sometimes. It is helping me learn a lot, no doubt — but I often wonder: Is this just a phase that gets better with time? Or am I being too much of a perfectionist? I feel like I haven’t done enough real-world projects yet for this to become second nature or "muscle memory"... Any devs here who’ve been through this curve — how’d you navigate it? Would appreciate any insights 🙏
