Hope to see everyone live, but if you're not able to make it you'll be able to watch the recordings later. Which ones are the most exciting for you? 👇

Backend for Todo's App?
Hey guys, I'm building a react app for personal use and was just wondering what backend I should go with. Have looked into Supabase and Firebase as potential backends. I'm not sure which would be best. I'm not sure if it even matters. I honestly just don't want my notes/todos to be constantly deleted once my chrome crashes and all the local storage get's lost 🥲 And I want something tailored to me and how I write notes/todos (Clickup is too complex lol) Also I've never connected a backend... would be great if anyone is able to help me with that.. I'm currently just working on the front-end haha Any help would be greatly appreciated! @Hayk Simonyan

@Hayk Simonyan yeah I realized that. I know some PosgreSQL but didn’t want to dig too deep into that atm since I just needed a quick app that will help me keep track of my Service Delivery Process for clients. Kinda like clickup, but more focused on me lol

Landed my first customer
So, I just landed my first customer last week. It’s a very simple project, but at least I’m getting paid for it — finally! I found my client on AirTasker, a platform that helps people get assistance with all kinds of tasks in Australia. I had to negotiate the price, as the initial offer was quite low. Even though I was competing with other developers, I was confident that my skills were more than enough to complete the work quickly and efficiently. The customer initially wanted to use some “mystic” frameworks for a simple project that could be done with plain HTML, CSS, and JavaScript. I still managed to convince her to let me build it in React — because, why not? 😄 So, thanks to Hayk, I can finally say that I’m earning money through development — and that makes me happy. Just 8 months ago, I was struggling to build a simple JavaScript carousel, and now I’ve landed my first customer. Don’t lose hope, keep grinding, and keep coding! Cheers !

Roadmap update 🚀
Watch the video below to see what's coming next. Since our last update in May - System Design Concepts course is now fully upgraded (with new lessons coming) - Git Live Crash Course is in progress - We’ll be implementing system design concepts in our ongoing project - I’ll start sharing my "second brain" topic-by-topic Which one of these would be more helpful to you?

Roadmap update 🚀

I agree with @Martta Niemi , just knowing what boxes to tic is helpful to make sure we're making progress on our learning.. I think the second brain is an amazing concept, but if it's going to be basically like a replica of the documentation that's already out there then maybe it won't be too valuable... you know? Your time is way too valuable to be rewriting some documentation you can simply give us a link to so we could read ourselves. But if it's sorted like a roadmap and includes actionable steps within it, then i could really see it being super valuable. Hope that makes sense :)

@Hayk Simonyan ohhh okay I see. Yeah that’s valuable for sure 👍
Having Issues With WP Website... unused CSS, Cacheing, & Server Errors
Hello everyone, I've got a client I am helping with SEO. Their site has got quite a lot of things going on that have left me stuck.. I thought I had fixed some of there errors/issues, but they keep reappearing! I've purged cache in the CDN (cloud flare) and in WP, but some pages just don't update the CSS and/or content. When the page initially loads, it's got the navbar all messed up.. I tried using media queries to get rid of this, and it worked.. but not for long I guess.. The next few screen shots are a bit more technical. Some images just aren't being received from the server for some reason... should I just re-upload the same image(s) to the wordpress media storage and see if that helps? The next few are just warnings about the website crawlers not being able to read the website correctly or that there is too much CSS. Any idea how I can fix these issues? Would it just be adding a robot.txt file? a sitemap.xml file? I'm wondering if anyone here is able to give me some guidance as to how I can fix these issues for good? Thanks in advance!

@Hayk Simonyan okay thank you, yeah I “purged cache” on the CDN, but one of the employees working there still says that some pages don’t show up correctly.. I’ll disable the cache, and see if that helps. And I’ll try out re-uploading to see if that helps avoid caching coalitions Thank you Hayk!!!
