#14 Wisdom of the day: Your Inner Agreements
Becoming Aware of Your Inner Agreements you made as a child! Many of us carry silent “agreements” we made with ourselves long ago — beliefs about life, about who we are, and about what is or isn’t possible. 🧒 These ideas may have felt true at the time, but it’s worth asking: Are they still accurate today? Do they still serve you as an adult❔ Sometimes these old agreements quietly shape our decisions, our confidence, and even our life situations without us noticing. Becoming aware of them is the first step toward choosing new, healthier beliefs that support who you are now — not who you were years ago. Examples of Inner Agreements We Carry Into Adulthood 1. "I must not make mistakes.” - Often formed in childhood when mistakes were punished or judged. - As an adult, this can create fear, perfectionism, or paralysis when trying something new. 2. “I have to please everyone to be accepted.” - Maybe you learned early that approval came only when you behaved a certain way. - As an adult, this can lead to burnout, resentment, or losing your own identity. 3. “I’m not good enough.” - Sometimes rooted in comparison, criticism, or lack of encouragement. - This agreement can limit your confidence, relationships, and opportunities. 4. “Life is supposed to be hard.” - Many people grow up hearing this from family or society. - As an adult, it can make you reject ease, joy, or success because it feels “wrong.” 5. “I must handle everything alone.” - Formed when asking for help wasn’t safe or available. - As an adult, it can block collaboration, support, and emotional connection. 6. “My needs are less important than others’.” - Often learned in families where you had to be the responsible one. - As an adult, this can lead to self-neglect and imbalance. 7. “I shouldn’t expect too much from life.” - A protective belief to avoid disappointment. - But it can also limit your dreams and keep you from aiming higher. If this message resonates with you, feel free to share it in the community. Someone else might need this reminder too. 🤍

Yes, what we believe about ourselves and the world may need updating sometimes. Otherwise, they can undermine our ability to achieve greater happiness and competence. This applies to me as well.
#13 Wisdom of the day: Stress
During my 25 years of guiding people, I have often heard the word “stress” used. 🙃 🤔But what is stress exactly and what causes it? 👉 From my own experience, and that of many others, I define stress as follows: When a person uses their imagination in a destructive way to react to an old story in the mind, or to a situation, person, or event in the outside world, the body produces unpleasant emotions. These emotions are low in frequency and slow down the flow of energy through the body. Especially when more than one unpleasant emotion is produced as a reaction to the mind’s story, the effect is stronger. The body then enters a state of stress because the energy flow is not sufficient to provide the body and organs with the energy they need to function optimally. This is what people feel in their body and describe as very unpleasant. That experience is what we all define as stress. 🥺 👉 What I experience is that you can handle stress very quickly. It all depends on your interpretation of the situation. 🫶Let me clarify this in an easy way to practice in your daily life. 🚗 For example, you are in the car driving to an event — your relationship with time matters. ⏰ You have 10 minutes to get there, and the traffic is bad. Now it is you who has the choice: 1. ‘I only have 10 minutes’ → emotions of lack, powerlessness, rejection, guilt, etc. 2. ‘I have the full 10 minutes’ → emotions of freedom, abundance, trust, etc. You are aware of these choices, and you can take the decision: 1 or 2. ❔My question to you: Which one is unhealthy for your body and makes life difficult to live in, and which one is healing for the body and makes life pleasant? ✔️Can you give me an example from your daily life where you became aware of this and made a change. 🤍 The switch of destructive reaction to constructive reaction. Could feel the different effects in your body? 💪 And did you became aware of the power you have on your life?

I was on the bus today and saw that it was crowded and the vibe was low . I had the choice to either stress out or meditate a little bit. I chose to stay very centered in my head and belly and feel the flow there (where I could have chosen option 2 of short-sightedness and negative fantasies, resulting in pressure in my head and tightness in my belly). I chose the constructive option (without stress). That way, I remained nicely neutral in mental calm with pleasant emotions of awareness (flow in the middle of my head) and value (cross-flow through the second chakra). That way, I stayed true to myself and didn't waste unnecessary energy on unnecessary stimuli from the outside world.
Question to my members:
What experience will you open your-self (you as a soul/ the self) to this year? I mean the one you’ve been resisting and haven’t yet allowed your-self to experience unconditionally. Let me give you some examples: - Feeling less than others / project your worthlessness onto your personality - Distrusting humanity / Project distrust on to humanity - Disbelieving in your own talents / Project disbelief onto your God given talents - Being restricted by money / Project your emotion of restriction onto money - Feeling disconnected from people - loneliness / Project the emotion of disconnection onto people

I want this year to share the emotion unconscious with God

@Kaat Jacobs Perhaps not the right word for short-sightedness translated from Dutch into English, but what I mean is that I wish to share the opposite emotion of conscious awareness with God this year.
#12 Wisdom of the day: Why trauma?
As a soul, you are here for the experience — for that which a soul without a body cannot know So there is no purpouse to erase trauma — as a soul you are here to experience it. Once you enter the experience without preference or conviction, that is what you truly are as a soul: "unconditional". Then the trauma loses its purpose and resolves. But when you fight against it, when you try to get rid of it or heal it, it only takes over your life even more.

What stands out for me is that the vast range of spirituality and knowledge is enormous, and there's certainly a lot that's interesting and effective, but not being truly present as a soul in your own body is essential to opening the door to a truly fulfilling life. I see many people engaged in all kinds of spirituality, but they don't realize (unknowingly) what they're missing.
