The facade caught my attention because of the two different types of brick, both slightly chipped and worn. I really like the combination of materials—brick, dark wood, and metal. I wanted to create a darker image, but not completely black, to achieve a different mood. I aimed for a slightly abandoned and lonely feel, while still preserving some of the texture. The first image is the original photo. In the second and third versions, I worked on refining the composition by cropping out distracting elements and removing details such as electrical outlets to create a cleaner look. In the final version, I adjusted the colors and lighting to enhance the mood. Ideally, I would have liked to remove the window trims as well, but I couldn’t quite make it work, so I left them in. Overall, I wanted to focus more on mood and texture than on perfection.
