📖 Tajweed Reminder of the Day
"Beautify your voice when you recite the Qur'an." — Prophet Muhammad ﷺ (Abu Dawood) Tajweed isn’t just about rules — it’s about honoring every letter of Allah’s words with care, love, and precision. 🕊️ Even small corrections can make a big impact on how the Qur'an touches hearts — including your own. 🌟 This week, focus on one rule only — maybe ghunnah, qalqala, or madd. Master it slowly, and you’ll feel the difference. Do you have a favorite Tajweed tip that helped you improve? Share it below 👇
Always have a trained ear (teacher) to listen, you can't hear yourself nor correcr when you're a learner. Hence you need a trained ear to tell you if what you do is right or not.
The BEST Way to Safeguard Yourself against Falsehood and Doubts❗
When you become involved in the Dawah movement, there will be times when you may struggle to explain certain topics, and you may not be completely aware of the context. Additionally, a language barrier can be a problem if Arabic isn't your native language. The Prophet (ﷺ) told us in a Hadith that "There shall come upon the people a time in which the one who is patient upon his religion will be like the one holding onto a burning ember." (Jami` at-Tirmidhi 2260). But what's the best way to shield yourself against waswasa, doubts and become a coherent representative that explains misconceptions of our religion eloquently and clearly? Abu Darda reported: The Prophet, peace and blessings be upon him, said, “Whoever memorizes ten verses from the beginning of Surat al-Kahf will be immune to the False Messiah.” In another narration, the Prophet said, “From the last ten verses of Surat al-Kahf.” Source: Ṣaḥīḥ Muslim 809 I can attest that memorising the first 10 ayahs has helped me dispel truth from falsehood, Alhamdullilah, and I highly recommend everyone do the same. There is no doubt that we are witnessing minor signs of the end times unravel as the years go by. Whenever there is conflict within muslim-majority countries, our religion again is thrown into public debate without impartiality. The Qur'an is our companion, and in the verses will safeguard against dealing with any figurehead that misconstrues our religion for likes, comments and - to put it plainly - "clout." We've got this In Shaa Allah 💪
While I agree with some things you mentioned, Inwould add that if one faves a language barrier or deals with someone who doesn't speak your language, simply don't talk to them as you can cause more damage then good. Also, if you don't know a topic, just say you don't know. And the best way to safeguard oneself against falsehood and doubts is: 1. Focusing more on learning Islam than learning other people's books 2. Not seeking out places that put you in that position, because at the end of the day, if something comes to you it's one thing, but if you know people aren't knowledgeable enough about Islam (from those who do 'dawah') then don't go there, also don't go to places where you know that doubts are spread. That wpuld be your own mistake and Allah says: إِنَّ الْكَافِرِينَ كَانُوا لَكُمْ عَدُوًّا مُّبِينًا Indeed, the disbelievers are ever to you a clear enemy. (4:101) And: وَلَا يَصُدَّنَّكُمُ الشَّيْطَانُ ۖ إِنَّهُ لَكُمْ عَدُوٌّ مُّبِينٌ And never let Satan avert you. Indeed, he is to you a clear enemy. (43:62) And Rasoolu Allah ﷺ said: There will come to the people years of treachery, when the liar will be regarded as honest, and the honest man will be regarded as a liar; the traitor will be regarded as faithful, and the faithful man will be regarded as a traitor; and the Ruwaibidah will decide matters.’ It was said: ‘Who are the Ruwaibidah?’ He said: ‘Vile and base men who control the affairs of the people.’ (Sunan Ibn Majah 4036) Fools can't lead in any matter, especially not the deen.
Finding Scientific Miracles in the Qur'an
Can we work together to find as much scientific miracles in ten Qur'an?
I believe that the Qur'an shouldn't be treated like a science book to be honest. Sometimes I see people using mutashabihat to show something. One has to be really careful with this
@Mahmoud Emad i didn't say you said that, I said the Qur'an shouldn't be 'treated as a science book'. I'm nobody to tell you what you should post brother, I just mentioned my humble opinion, that's it. It wasn't a criticism of you, I said it in general.
Your Effort Is Not Wasted
I stumbled upon a book that I found at a store that focuses on how small, consistent changes in habits can lead to significant long-term results. I've only read about 19 pages and I am already in shock with the amount of facts that I've came across. The book is called "Atomic Habits" by James Clear, if you want to give it a read! “We make a few changes, but the results never seem to come quickly… and so we slide back into our previous routines.” (Page. 17) SubhanAllah, how many times have we tried to improve ourselves in business, in Deen, in habits only to give up because we didn’t see instant results? “And rationalizing little excuses, our small choices compound into toxic results.” (Page. 17) This line hit me. It reminds me of how Shaytaan doesn’t always attack us with big sins... sometimes it’s the small excuses that add up until we lose barakah, motivation, and purpose. But Allah ﷻ tells us in the Qur’an: “So be patient. Indeed, the promise of Allah is truth.” (Surah Ar-Rum 30:60) Keep pushing. Keep making those small, sincere changes. The fruits don’t always appear immediately, but Allah never lets effort go to waste — especially when it’s done with the right intention. If you’re building something like a business, a better mindset, a closer relationship with the Qur’an then don’t stop when it gets slow. 📿 Barakah takes time. Results are from Allah. Your job is to stay consistent. May Allah put sincerity in our hearts, barakah in our efforts, and sabr in our journey. Ameen
