Fire destroyed everything
We had a fire last week in our shop. It had destroyed everything. I will spend the next few weeks to months dealing with insurance. Nothing is left.

@Audrey Burm I have been really busy. I have a kiln unload to edit. Recorded it a couple week ago, not sure I have it in me to edit.

Vivor wheel splash pan
Since I know many potters have tested this wheel... The last time I used it the splash pan seems to leak and rub against the wheel head. Am I putting it on wrong ? Do others have this issue or a solution? Maybe I should just dress all students in garbage bags, then let the clay fly. 😂

I have one that I use all the time. I don’t have a problem with the splash pan. I know it is not water proof, and there is only one way it will go on because of a groove in the base of the pan. I do not have trouble with rubbing unless there is too much clay in the pan.

Oregon potters association show
Every year the OPA has a big show at the Convention Center in Portland. I went yesterday and met Louise and John Buckles and had such a good time. The variety of the work was astounding! I asked the people whose work is pictured for permission to post them and everyone said yes. I realize the link looks long but I don’t know how to shorten it. And I didn’t want to post individual photos here. I’ve never used Dropbox before so fingers crossed it works! PS - when I clicked the link it took me to a line of pictures that I had to scroll down. It was great to meet up with Mary. I was hoping to meet up with Amanda too, but that didn’t work. This is a mug I purchased, and another piece I love. I bought the blue mug.
