Mother’s Day check-in for the moms in this community 💙🙆‍♀️
Mother’s Day is tomorrow, and I just wanted to pause for a moment and check in with the mothers here who are also dealing with tinnitus, hyperacusis, sound sensitivity, sleep struggles, or just the emotional weight that can come with all of this. A lot of mothers are used to being the ones who keep going no matter what. They show up, take care of others, carry a lot quietly, and often keep pushing even when they are exhausted or overwhelmed. So if you’re a mother in this community and you’ve been carrying all of that while also dealing with difficult symptoms in the background, I just want to say this clearly: 𝗜 𝘀𝗲𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂, 𝗮𝗻𝗱 𝗜 𝗮𝗽𝗽𝗿𝗲𝗰𝗶𝗮𝘁𝗲 𝘆𝗼𝘂. 🙏 I know these challenges can be invisible to other people. On the outside, you may still look like you’re handling everything. But inside, it can be tiring, frustrating, and sometimes very lonely. So I want to ask: How are you doing right now, really? Is there anything that feels especially hard this weekend? And is there any way I can support you, this week or going forward? If so, please let me know in the comments below (or message me directly). Let’s talk about it. Let’s have a real conversation about what’s been hard, what you need, or what might help. And to the rest of the community, I’d love to ask you too: How are you planning to support your mother, your wife, or another important mother in your life this weekend? Sometimes support is not just flowers or going out somewhere. Sometimes it’s patience. Sometimes it’s helping create a calmer day. Sometimes it’s simply being more understanding. 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Feel free to share below. I think this could be a really meaningful conversation. 🙏 Have a great weekend & mother day! 💙 Guy.

@Patricia Reid condolences to you and family, may you celebrate the love and memory of your mom during this Mother's day and everyday.
How Do You Find Peace❓
A wonderful person in this community shared this video with me this morning. 🙏💙 As some of you already know, I used to practice traditional Kung Fu for around 6-7 years, so this is even closer to me. BUT... watch this very short message in the context of our challenges, yes this means the T word. 🪷

April 29 -> Wednesday Check-In ✅
Happy Wednesday, awesome people! On Monday, you set your one thing to focus on for the week. How's it going so far? I'll go first below... 👇

For me I've been consistently doing 2 25-min meditations everyday. I tried to squeeze in a 10-min one in the morning but today I woke up late and had to hurry off to work. I have also been trying to listen to sound therapy and practice the spike protocol whenever the noise is bothering me.
📅 April 27 -- Monday check-in: What’s your ONE focus THIS week?
Well, it's Monday again. I got some really good feedback from many of you about this weekly check-ins, so.... New week... fresh start... and one simple question: 👉 What is the ONE thing you want to focus on this week that could help your tinnitus journey move forward? It can be the same thing as last week, or a new thing you need to focus on next. But... not 5 things. Not every tool at once. Just the one thing that would make this week feel meaningful. A few examples: - use one relaxation technique every day - stop checking the sound so often - be more consistent with sound enrichment - handle spikes with a calmer response - get back into one activity you’ve been avoiding Here are the rules: 1. it should be one thing 2. it should be specific enough that by Friday you can say, “yes, I did that” or “no, I didn’t” 3. it should actually help you move forward, not just keep you busy Share your ONE thing for THIS week in the comments below. And if you feel stuck, comment that too and tell me what you’re stuck on. That’s often where the real progress starts. 🙏💡
