Read the Full Feature “If I didn’t write, I would blow up. Writing has always been my way through.” — @Stacy Dyson New poetry collection Because the Sun Would Not Move releases January 2026 from Red Thread Publishing. There are writers who craft poems, and then there are poets whose lives insist on being written. Stacy Dyson is, unquestionably, the latter. A four-time Red Thread author, lifelong creator, and truth-teller to the bone, Stacy’s newest collection, Because the Sun Would Not Move, is a fierce, unflinching, deeply human exploration of movement, loss, survival, and the quiet constancies that keep us tethered when life won’t stop shifting under our feet. And like all her books, this one wasn’t optional. “It’s because I had to,” she says. “Things were happening and I couldn’t keep it to myself or I was going to blow up.” Read the Full Feature More authors for 2026 will be featured here shortly. We have had 2 recent new authors join the community. Excited for you to know them.

Rarely Used Punctuation
I found this on Reddit (r/coolguides, u/etemologynerd); How many of these have you used? I have many opportunities because I’ve used only 2/16: interrobang and hedera. There are many here that I can’t wait to use! @Sierra Melcher

Alone one day in the forbidden wood, lay a wounded ethereal stag. The woodland fairies and pixies ran to and fro, crying in despair, not sure what to do. The small child placed his tiny hands on the wounded creature and spoke in a soft, caring voice. "I am here to help you." And with his gentle, magical touch, the stag sprang to his feet and ran off. It was in that moment the young boy knew
