Jewellery Rendering
Jewellery is difficult, specially in Blender which doesn’t handle caustics well. I had to render these in 2view layers, light the stone using masked indirect lighting, and later readjust all lighting & colors in composition, had to add a fake glare light to emulate “Caustic shadow”. Anyone here with expertise in jewellery rendering? here is the figma for this project(I use figma as a replacement for PureRef because Figma links can be shared and edited by team also): https://www.figma.com/file/7XNROyymM4IJbYeVQhtwPD?locale=en&type=design

Beauty of Joseon - swoop
I'm in the middle of creating a video for clients that don't realize the strenghts and possibilities of cgi over photography or other conventional media for their products. Can you comment down below what are the biggest strenghts of cgi according to you? I'm interested to see if i forgot something 💪🏼😁 Thank you 😊

KPI for 3D Artists
How exactly do we measure how a 3D animation helps in business. What are the KPIs for it? Because if i know the KPI. I can measure the impact of the video, and that is what eventually helps the business. Do you people have charted this out? Because how can i price only the WOW FACTOR. The wow factor has no business value. Why should i pay 2-3k for a wow factor animation.
Animating a single plane object from a cloner
I have a setup with a plane surface and a cloner of 20 items. I have separate plane surfaces for each item because of texturing. The wave movement is due to an attractor force I added on the front of the plane to influence the movement you see. Now I want to move a plane surface from the items here singularly away from the cloner. Maybe something like moving the center plane object from this setup without affecting the remaining 19 cloned object. How can I achieve this?

How to Bake and export an animation from C4D to AE?
Does anyone knows how to bake an animation that is controled by a tag. In my case I have an object that is moving along a Spline, and it's controled by the Align to Spline tag. I need this position data to be exported to After Effects, but becouse it is a tag that controls the animation the external compositing tag doesn't work. So I thought of baking the whole animation as alembic. And it doesn't work either. How can I bake frame by frame the position of this object in order to export it to After Effects?
