Anyone working on speed work as part of their marathon training? I haven't focused on it much so far, but I did run a 5:55 mile this morning - 21 seconds faster than 3 months ago - which probably means marathon training is hard at work! I will be running much slower for my marathon pace, of course, but this encourages me mentally that I may be able to stick to a pace.
Any wins in training this week?
