🌍PART 1: My business/purpose story
Yo, okay, so here's my story regarding business and my purpose, alright.
So back in the day, it was November 2024, I remember the exact date, it was actually 31 October 2024. I joined a coaching, a coaching regarding dropshipping, e-commerce, it was more the brand and dropshipping side, but I realized soon enough that obviously it was cool, I made some money, I made like 10k in revenue, but I noticed that it was not that fun to pursue, it was never really fun to actually make money with this business model.
The way you actually made money was you go on Facebook ads library, you look for competitors and their ads, you look for winning products you copy the competitor with the text, the whole product description, you copy their ads, you copy their ad copy, all those type of things, right, and then eventually you place the ad online, and then yeah, you know, then you hope that you may get some sales out of it.
It was never really fun, it was never really something I could see myself doing for the next, yeah, the next 10 years, and I was always telling myself whilst doing this dropshipping, oh yeah, this is just a startup to start a brand, e-commerce brand eventually, that's what literally everyone in the coaching told, by the way
More about like the coaching itself, obviously it was a dropshipping guru from the Netherlands, and he was telling, ‘’yeah, we only let 10 people in every single month’’, well, in the 7 months that I've been in there I see 400 people joining, and that's a lot man.
But I also soon realized, okay, I'm actually ashamed when I tell people what business I do, every time someone asks me, ‘’Hey man, what do you do for a business, this and that’’, I always answered, ‘’Yeah, I do dropshipping’’, always with that sort of shame, that sort of guilt over me, I was never really, never really confident in what I was doing.
Obviously I made money from it, but I never felt that true purpose, where I can literally walk up to someone and express with my confidence in what I do and why I do it, and why I love doing it so much.
This was my thing when it came down to e-commerce and dropshipping, I never truly found purpose in it, and I was always ashamed of the business model that I was doing. And that was until I started finding out more about the coaching space, the more teaching kind of stuff. Because back in the day, and then we're talking about August 2023, I was creating like self-improvement YouTube videos.
And I quit that now, because I got the shiny object syndrome from the dropshipping gurus. I quit it, but I always had purpose for explaining things to others, making people understand certain topics. I've always had that purpose, and that's what I'm doing right now, right here in this guide as well.
So, I started thinking, it was a bit of the end towards the end of May 2025.
I did like the self-improvement YouTubing for like August 2023, I would say for a solid 8-7 months. I got humiliated in high school, 1200 people found out about the channel, everyone laughed at me in the hallways of the school
But I've always had purpose for just chatting, for just expressing my thoughts and making people understand it.
It was late May 2025 when I realized,
‘’Do I actually want to do this for the rest of my life, do I actually want to sell these Chinese products that I first off never touched, I've never seen them, never felt them in human. To these old people from Sweden and South Africa? do I truly want to sell products that I've never seen to people I've never seen?’’.
And then I thought, no, I don't want this, so I was thinking, how can I make sure that I actually do something that's purposeful and that can make me money as well at the age of 16?
So I started thinking and I thought back to the times when I was uploading videos and explaining things, I truly love that. So that's what I'm doing right now.
This is what this whole guide is going to be about, I am going to make sure that you find your purpose again. I want you to truly find your purpose in life, not only in the business, but also in life.
What do you truly like to do? Whether it's playing guitar, whether it's playing chess, whether it's coaching people just like I do.
I don't care what your purpose is, I hope you will find your purpose, because that's the best thing a human could ever get, okay, let's start this guide.
This was my story, share me yours bro, let's start this guide, alright, so the second part is: what does purpose mean in my opinion, let's get started boys.
❤️PART 2: What does purpose mean in my opinion?
In my opinion, purpose means that you do something that you want to do and like to do, and you can do it for the rest of your life, okay?
Now this is scary to some point. This is very scary when it comes down to now deciding what you want to do in the rest of your life.
And this is going to change over time, and you have to accept it.
I thought (read my story above) that dropshipping was the thing that I was going to be doing all my life. I changed. I thought that self-improvement YouTube videos were going to be the thing that I was going to do my life. And now I think that coaching is going to be the thing that I'm going to do my entire life.
Maybe it isn't. Maybe it is. Who knows?
So, what does purpose actually mean, in my opinion? In my opinion, it means that you do something that you actually enjoy. And this doesn't need to be the fact that you do something that you enjoy, and that you actually see yourself doing in the future as well. Like, we all change, and if you don't change and you stay the same, like all the dropshipping gurus making the top 25 best dropshipping products for 2025, 2026, 2027. If you don't develop yourself, and don't discover different layers of your purpose, then it's going to be a problem.
We, as humans, keep developing ourselves. And my view on purpose means that you do something you enjoy doing, but not in a way that is harming your health, your fitness, and other aspects of life. So obviously, we can like video games. We can like scrolling on social media. But this is not helping us in the future.
We actually got to look at it in a way to see, ‘’What do I actually like doing on a day-to-day basis that is also going to benefit me in the future?’’
And this could be business. This could be self-improvement, etc.
So, what does purpose actually mean?
It's like finding something you enjoy doing that's going to benefit you in the future as well. Nothing more, nothing less, all right? So finding something you truly like doing, and something that wakes you up every single day, something that motivates you, something that makes you feel like you finally found your way around in life.
And I'm a 16-year-old. And loads of people my age in the Netherlands, and loads of people just in general who are 16, they don't know what they want in life. I do.
And this is simply being done by just making sure you sit down with yourself and truly let your thoughts just come towards you, like brainstorming with yourself, what do I want to do?
How am I going to do this?
Make sure you truly sit with yourself about this, because this is not something you can decide within a second. This is not something that comes from your impulsive thoughts. This is something you truly have to think about and actually make sure you apply the pre-mortem method.
So the pre-mortem method is saying to yourself and asking yourself, why would this certain thing not work, okay? So for instance, when you like to scroll on social media. That could be something you enjoy. But then you ask yourself, why would this not work for me in the future? Why would this not benefit me in the future? And then you start thinking, well, it's probably a waste of time. Maybe I learned a thing or two, this and that.
You can come up with a lot of examples.
My true definition of purpose is doing something you like doing that is going to benefit you in the future as well, in finance, in fitness and in overall life.
Alrighty, next on haha, this is going to be a long one
🧠PART 3: How to live a purposeful life?
For me, to live a purposeful life, it means that I can help others achieve the life that they want. So this is like my entire coaching thingy, but I think for you guys, what you guys could do is you could brainstorm with yourself. You could think to yourself, okay, what do I truly want to do in life, and what actually brings an impact to the world, alright?
That's something I would do if I were in your position, where you still do not really know what is my purpose, how do I find it, and how will it actually benefit my life.
So for me, this has been coaching, right? Like I told you earlier in the story, I always had a struggle finding my purpose, but I always had something in me that told me, bro, record some videos and just see where the ship strands, you know, help people, make sure you make an impact in someone's life.
WHOAHHH, before you read further, comment ‘’PURPOSE’’ so I can see who is actually dedicated haha.
So what I did, I started doing coaching 1,5 months ago, and I actually made this guy some money. And the happiness that he got from it, and not even him, but his parents as well.
So what happened, I made him some money, and his parents bought him a laptop, because they were so proud of him. That's what it's all about, man. It's about making an impact in someone's life, making an impact in someone's life that it truly changes their lives.
That is my true definition when it comes down to finding your purpose, to ensuring that you actually live a purposeful life, because that's what it's all about man.
It's all about making sure that if you want to live a purposeful life, you have to make sure you help others live a purposeful life. You have to make sure that others are happy, because obviously you can be fulfilled with your meditation, but if you truly want your purpose to have an impact on the world, you want to make sure that you help others, help others achieve things, achieve their goals in their lives.
That's what brings true purpose to you, because at the end, meditation is going to get boring. Working out every single day, the same routine is going to get boring, but what actually brings purpose in your life is when you wake up in the morning, you get a message on your phone from one of your clients that says, ‘’Bro, I fucking love you. You made me 1k yesterday. I love you, bro. I fucking love you.’’
That is what you want to wake up to, okay? That is what brings joy, purpose, fulfillment, abundance in your life. That is what truly makes you happy and lets you truly live a purposeful life, in my opinion.
It's not about only yourself. It's helping others, and therefore you feel that you've got your purpose. That's my way of living a purposeful life, helping others achieve and get certain things in their lives.
Hope you guys understand this part, because maybe it was a bit unclear, but for me, it's helping others. That is how I live a purposeful life, and that's how I think you should do it as well. This could be in any type of business, in any type of situation.
You can help people, like you can spot someone at the bench press. You can do a guided meditation session with someone. It's not even about business in general. It's about literally anything, just helping people, like spreading your kindness towards others. That's what I think is what purpose is about and how you can actually live a purposeful life.
What do you guys think? This is my opinion about this.
