2 Months of near Zero Internet speeds and 7 days of Totol Shutdown

Hello Family,

I am back after 2 months of near Zero internet speeds and 1 week of total shut down. I live in Kampala where I call home and we had presidential elections (or coronation) and other local council elections which ended yesterday. Our sitting president started in 1986 when he swept to power after a successful guerilla war when Ronald Reagan was USA president and Margaret Thatcher the UK premier. He has since maintained himself through organizing rituals you do not want to call elections. The downside for me is that throughout my life, I have not witnessed a peaceful change of power.

It is refreshing to be back on full speed today and to regain access to my accounts as well. For once I am thinking of another business location. With the nomadic lifestyle now a real possibility, why would I be stuck in Uganda with little or no Internet for 2 months while some military junta works to control the outcome of a fraudulent process which I have little or no control over?

I hear some people talk of UAE as a favorable location because of tax advantages. USA is crazy with tax, regulations, etc. Any ideas from you guys where to locate an LLC?

BTW - what would you do if you faced the above scenario? Love to hear your thoughts
