What does YUI 結 mean?
Yui is a Japanese word that means a knot or bond. The spirit of Yui recognizes the interconnected and interdependent nature of living and existing.
Practically, yui refers to a collective of people that rely on each other to complete essential work. In traditional mountain villages the community comes together to rethatch a resident’s roof or to plant and harvest a rice field, none of which can be accomplished alone.
In YUI, we come together to support each other, because we can't do this work alone.
