I saw something on X today that honestly made my stomach turn.
Someone on X complained to YouTube:
Someone stole his content…
Posted it first…
Got terminated…
…and then he got flagged by YouTube for “re-uploading their video.”
Even though the video was HIS.
Even though it was WATERMARKED.
That’s how backwards the internet is right now.
Platforms can’t tell what’s real anymore.
Bots. AI twins. Repost farms. Faceless pages.
Everybody looks the same.
And that’s exactly why I keep telling business owners this:
Put your face in your content.
Not for vanity.
Not for fame.
But for protection.
When your face is in your content, you can’t be mistaken for a copy.
If someone wants to steal your work, they now have to go through the trouble of pretending to be you.
And let’s be honest… most people are lazy.
They’ll prefer to recreate more generic content with AI.
Sure, AI can replicate voices.
It can replicate faces.
It can replicate styles.
But it still can’t fake one thing:
Real human trust built over time.
That only happens when people:
-Hear your voice
-See your face
-Watch you think in real time
And feel like they actually know you
This is why faceless content is getting burned right now.
And why real human brands are going to age like fine wine in the next few years.
If you’re a business owner, this isn’t just a “content tip.”
This is your digital identity insurance.
