Back on the grind - Outreach has begun 🫡
Today was very busy playing catch up with work while having to meet with 2 mentors today. Learned how to sequence cold outreach properly. Here is my outreach outline that will hopefully change the game: - Goal is 8+ Touch Points per lead - Phases: Opening, Development, Ask - Timing window = Day 1,3,5,7,12,15 - Mix channel Sequences: Email, LinkedIn, Email, Call, Instagram or Facebook, Email, Email, Email - Messaging roadmap 1. Relevance: Show why reaching out, reference specific details, make the focus about them and getting their input 2. Value: Share industry insights, provide useful info, No hard sell yet 3. Social Proof: Share case studies, mention similar clients, show results 4. Direct Value Prop: Clear problem & Solution fit, specific benefits, soft call to action 5. Strong CTA: Clear next steps, Time-Bound if possible, Make it easy to say yes Lastly I wanted to include some starter templates: Linkedin: "Hi Jimmothy, I noticed you've been writing about x in y. Your point about x resonated with me, we're actually working on solving that exact challenge. Would you be interested in seeing how other "people in your industry" are handling this? Email: - Personal: "Jon, quick question about x in y" - Problem-focused: "Increasing x metric by 60%" - Curiosity-driven: "This made me think of your recent article" Structure: Short paragraphs, Bullet points for scanning, next clear steps, short enough to read on phone. Cold calling is a whole other beast that I will be practicing more before I share my tips and tricks with that channel. Cold outreach plan locked in + Created Validation Loop
Great progress on clarity today, learned a lot from this cold outreach video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9yVKNBY-59g Will be rewatching and crafting my own semi template that I can use to help warm up some future customers. Also @David Eastep I created you a template you can use to start validating your business idea! This is the process I am using now to take steps each day and the fist 2 examples are where I was at last week. Here it the link, feel free to make a copy for yourself: https://docs.google.com/spreadsheets/d/1FF8AODanRCxJ8CGWimfeA5jRjucgEFXTHO25AOLorac/edit?usp=sharing Progress update: - Worked on the Gamified Life tracker, its coming along nicely but my expert ghosted me a bit so I need to check in with other dashboard experts who can help me in this area. - Spent 2 hours at the gym today 💪🏻 - Learned how to Cold Outreach - Pivoted my target to fit the outreach channels slightly, will be testing this angle over the next few days There will likely be no progress updates on my end besides learning over the weekend, will be unplugging a bit and spending lots of time outside. Will still check in to see everyone's progress if any 🫶🏻

Met with Mentor + New Outreach Campaign
First off welcome to the community @David Eastep! Would love to hear what your focus is and how far along you are in your journey towards getting there. My update for today: - Spoke with mentor - Need to restart outreach with new focus/ messaging - Joined a School of Mentors call and vibed with some cool people, also got a tip to reach out to Jack about his Excel start history - And brainstormed some content ideas as well for YouTube Lost some time in the Pivot with undertenancy but after the full reset I am ready to try again.
Updated Website + Life Tracker Quest has started
Had a busy weekend visiting some family but we are back on track now. Updated website: https://tyconnect.vercel.app/ Also made great progress on the gamified tracker + the video to be released in the near future. Next steps: - Understand YouTube API for pulling a snapshot of all data - Reach out to Levi to give him some free value - Connect with Mentor about next steps + her creator connection Stay tuned for how to build your own custom life tracker in Google Sheets!
