Head off
Hi, I’d like to talk about what’s going on in my head. When I start new things, I feel like my body does what it’s supposed to do, but my mind kind of switches off in that moment. For example: I’m riding sideways onto a box, my mind is switched on just before the obstacle, then it switches off and turns back on only after I jump off the obstacle. My body knows what to do and usually does everything right.
Hello
I’m Leslie. I live in the PNW, although originally from Toronto. I met some of you at LAAX over the years, and I’m looking forward to coming back out there in March this year to land some new tricks.

Quick Organizational Announcement
Hey everyone, our community is growing and it's SO COOL to be interacting with everyone and seeing our discussion boards get filled with posts ❤️‍🔥 Thinking ahead to when there are 100+ posts in these boards, we're organizing the Ski Snacks and Video Analysis posts into categories and linking them in their respective classroom so you can find things more easily. Now if you're interested in a specific topic, you don't have to scroll through a whole discussion board to find those posts. Just go to the classroom and you'll find the related posts there. See examples below. So keep posting in the discussion boards just as you are, we'll do the categorizing and linking to classrooms in the background 🪄 Happy Skiing y'all ⛷️

Footbeds
Hi everyone, I’m Manolis and I just joined the community. I had a question about footbeds and boot fit. I’ve actually never used footbeds before. I’ve always skied with just the boot as it came. Recently, though, I realized that my heel is lifting, especially when I’m flexing forward or when i try to ski switch (on the outside ski). I’m wondering whether getting custom footbeds would be a good step to improve heel retention and/or my general skiing experience. Any advice or experiences would be much appreciated. Thanks in advance!
Help with a back 2
I’ve been able to get front 2s occasionally but really struggle with a back 2. Here are two attempts. Any suggestions?
