Rebooting by Drawing Cartoons
Remember the books you used to learn how to create art, especially those related to drawing or painting? Iโve recently obtained books from my childhoodโ๐๐ณ๐ข๐ธ๐ช๐ฏ๐จ ๐๐ข๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ด ๐๐ข๐ณ๐ต๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ฏ ๐๐ฉ๐ข๐ณ๐ข๐ค๐ต๐ฆ๐ณ๐ด, and ๐๐ฐ๐ธ ๐ต๐ฐ ๐๐ณ๐ข๐ธ 50 ๐๐ข๐ฎ๐ฐ๐ถ๐ด ๐๐ข๐ณ๐ต๐ฐ๐ฐ๐ฏ๐ด, by Lee J. Ames. They have rekindled a desire to draw and sketch regularly, much like I used to do in the past. I have a recent YouTube video which features one of these books, which encourages artists to revisit the material which they began to learn from. The video, "If You Grew Up Drawing Cartoons, This Oneโs for You ๐จโ, also has amusing outtakes, which a number of people told me they enjoy. Post your books here! What started you on your journey? What books have you picked up to continue expanding about what you know?
