Henry David Thoreau- Walden
"If a man does not keep pace with his companions, perhaps it is because he hears a different drummer. Let him step to the music which he hears, however measured or far away".
How many times have you done what every one else has done simply because it is a social norm? Or worse, because you are afraid to different or afraid to fail.
If you or someone you know want to dance to the sound of their own drum let them. I have had my friends, in their efforts to help me do better, have wanted me to apply for jobs I never felt comfortable with.
Dont tear people down when they do something outside the norm. You can either help them or get out of their way, but don't rain ontheir parade.
