Due to my recent diagnosis of Tonsillitis, I have to reschedule again.
I want to say that these are those very events or moments that lead to discouragement. The enemy wants us to feel this way so that we can give up. Trusting the process and Gods timing even through the delays is our purest form of faith. With that said, continue to review your homework and keep asking God what does he want to reveal to you in this season. Invite friends to join and soon enough we will see GODS work when we unpack this powerful message. THE LITTLE MERMAID THROUGH SPIRITUAL EYES.

ONE MORE DAY.....WHAT TO EXPECT
⏰Tomorrow, September 7th is The Little Mermaid series kickoff For the next few weeks, we’re diving deep into a story you thought you knew… The Little Mermaid! But this isn’t about Disney. This is about YOU. In this series, we’ll explore: Ariel’s longing for more. Ursula’s jealousy and how comparison distorts our identity. Triton’s fear and how it has made him a prisoner of his own sea. WHAT TO EXPECT: To help you reflect, I will be uploading a PDF that you can print out and write on OR you can read off your phone and write on another paper (for those who don't have printers). I will also upload PDF for journalling so you can share your intimate conversations with GOD. And yes… we’ll even have coloring-book-style affirmations to bring the truths to life. So go ahead a run to Dollar Tree and grab you some colored pencils. Coloring is therapeutic. Make sure you've downloaded the app on your phone and click on the little bell 🔔 on the upper right-hand corner so that you aren't missing out on anything. Question for you: Which character do you relate to most — Ariel, Triton, or Ursula?

Contentment vs. Complacency: Lessons from The Little Mermaid
Have you practiced gratitude? Ariel’s Story: Ariel longed for more than what she saw under the sea. Her desire wasn’t just rebellion—it reflected a deep discontentment with staying in a world that didn’t match the fullness of who she felt called to be. 1. Contentment is being at peace with where you are, while still moving with vision and purpose. It’s trusting God’s timing and provision, even as you prepare for more. 2. Complacency is settling for less than you’re meant for, staying stuck because it feels safe, or silencing the voice inside that says, “there’s more.” The Tension in the Movie: Ariel wasn’t complacent. She didn’t just accept her world “as is.” She pushed for more—but at times she lacked discernment in how to pursue it (which opened the door to Ursula’s schemes). King Triton, on the other hand, risked slipping into complacency cloaked as protection. His fear of losing Ariel made him resist change, even when God was calling Ariel to a new chapter. Spiritual Truth: God calls us to be content but never complacent. Paul says in Philippians 4:11–13 that he learned the secret of contentment in all circumstances—but that contentment never stopped him from pursuing his calling. Contentment = Peaceful trust in God’s plan. Complacency = Fear-based settling that keeps you stuck.
