Most people think yoga is all about the the physical poses (asana). This is great, but to be a true yogi and live the lifestyle, we want to understand the entirety of the yoga lifestyle - not just the physical practice.
Much of yoga practice happens off of the mat and in daily life. The overall goal is to calm the mind, settle the crazy thoughts, reduce the attachments to outcomes, and re-connect to your soul. We get there on our yoga mats, but have to sustain that same mindset in daily life. That is the real practice :D
