Monday 3/9/26 my doctor finally cleared me to start walking again after breaking my ankle.
This video was my first real walk back. Just getting outside and moving again felt like a huge victory after weeks of wearing a boot and barely being able to move normally.
I didn’t rush it. I just focused on putting one foot in front of the other and listening to my body.
By the end of the day, between my morning walk and my evening walk, I ended up doing 6 miles total. Not fast. Not perfect. But moving again.
Sometimes healing is simply about getting up and taking the next step.
