TRAYNELL (7th Grade)
6.1 âžť 5.5
In 6 weeks.
And he’s only in 7th grade.
Let’s talk about what that actually means.
Traynell started with us mid-January.
He showed glimpses of potential of his ability but his times did not yet reflect what i knew he was capable of. I knew that all he needed was some consistent structure in his speed, power and agility to get to the next level.
Most youth athletes train hard.
Very few train correctly.
Now he’s sitting at 5.5…
And he’s projected to hit the 4’s before his 8th grade season.
That’s separation speed.
That’s varsity-ready speed.
That’s confidence walking onto the field.
The biggest mistake I see?
Most parents wait to fix speed.
The athletes who separate early? They build it NOW.
Tray is proof of why speed and athletic development now is one of the best investments you can make for a young athlete.
