Managing multiple remote audio sources in vMix (more than 8 channels)
Hi everyone!!! Quick question for those working with streaming setups
I’ve been experimenting with multi-platform streaming using vMix, mostly with remote participants rather than people in the same physical set… things like Zoom calls, remote microphones, and guests joining from their own setups
As the number of audio sources grows (more than 8 channels), I’m trying to figure out the best way to keep the workflow organized and manageable during a live stream
For those who work with similar remote setups, how do you usually handle routing and audio management? Do you rely on external mixers, interfaces, Dante, or mostly handle it inside vMix?
Would love to hear how you approach it and what’s worked best in your experience (:
