Mindset Shift Reflection 🥹
As many times as I’ve gone deep to release this, there are moments when it still resurfaces. As a child, I experienced rejection from my family due to religious differences and was bullied in school. Those experiences shaped parts of me that learned to stay guarded in order to feel safe.
Last week at the gym, I unexpectedly ran into two girls who bullied me in middle and high school. I gave them a hug, and I know they witnessed the version of me I’ve grown into. Still, memories arose, moments when I was made to feel small, ridiculed, and dismissed. Even though I have forgiven them, some of the pain remains.
I am deeply intuitive and sensitive to energy. I feel things fully, and I’ve learned to protect my heart because of that. I can sense when something or someone is misaligned, and I no longer ignore those signals.
As I dive into Day 2, I am choosing to reframe these memories, not by bypassing them, but by releasing their hold on my present. I am letting go with compassion, I am safe now. I am grounded in who I am becoming. 🤍
