Hi everyone, my name is Lorena. I am the author of the dramatic novel Emily. I’ve been in love with storytelling since third grade, when my teacher projected a picture of a carnival on the wall and asked us to describe it. Oh, where my imagination went! It was the funnest thing I had ever done, and I was hooked for life. In fourth grade, my teacher read to us every day; Tales of a Fourth Grade Nothing, Bunnicula, Superfudge, Ramona Quimby, and my life was forever changed. From that point on, I’ve read and written almost every single day. Along the way I’ve even self-published poetry and short stories, always chasing new ways to share my mind and soul.
