Want to write a children's book but feel stuck, overwhelmed, or unsure where to start? Turn your ideas into a structured, confident first draft with clear guidance and support.
This space is ideal if you:
  • Want to write for young readers (7–9) or middle grade (9–12)
  • Love imaginative stories, including fantasy
  • Prefer structure and guidance before drafting
This space is NOT for editors, publishers or illustrators.
I’m Rachel Harmsworth, a children’s author with a BA in English Literature & Creative Writing and an MA in Writing for Children. I created this space because beginners are often given advice that skips the foundations. Here, we slow down and build stories properly.
This is a craft-led community, not a publishing hype space. We focus on planning strong children’s stories, including age range, character, plot, fantasy logic, and age-appropriate voice.
What You’ll Get
