What's This You Say About CAB Books?
Behind-the-Scenes at Red Thread we are busy planning our next Collaborative Book concept (CABs), all while two of our current projects are in motion:
  • MENtal: Stories about Male Mental Health & Healing is getting ready to launch.
  • SPLIT: Female Tales of Renewal & Resilience is in the peer review stage.
These books will join other CABs written on topics such as: Motherhood, Leadership, Seeking Fulfillment, Overcoming Fear, and more.
Participating in a Collaborative Book has been a rewarding experience for me. Not only have I been able to unburden myself by writing about a difficult chapter in my life, but I've also:
  • Learned a tremendous amount about the writing process.
  • Become stronger as a writer and as a person.
  • Collaborated with others that I have things in common with
  • Been tremendously inspired by the drafts I have read, and the strong individuals behind them.
Everyone has their own reason for writing. For some, it's sharing something personal for the first time. For others, it’s a chance to promote their tools and services as they apply to the topic. For all, it's an inspirational journey and a chance to be bold. Collaborative books are an accessible way to take a step on that journey. Keep an eye out for our next titles, as you may be inspired to join us soon!
