Most people think video editing is just cutting clips and adding music. That’s why their videos don’t convert.
Good video editing does three things:
  1. Hooks attention in the first 3 secondsIf the opening doesn’t stop the scroll, nothing else matters. Clean cuts, pattern interrupts, and on-screen text are key.
  2. Keeps retention highEvery pause, filler word, or dead second kills watch time. Tight pacing, zooms, captions, and b-roll keep viewers locked in.
  3. Guides the viewer to actionGreat edits subtly push the viewer to like, comment, DM, or buy, without feeling forced.
Most creators already have good content. It’s the editing that’s holding them back.
If you’re posting consistently but not getting the engagement you expect, your edit is probably the bottleneck.
I help creators and businesses turn raw footage into high-retention, scroll-stopping videos built for growth.
If you want feedback on your current videos, drop one below or DM me.Happy to help.
