Ever feel like your book has multiple personalities?
Hey everyone,
Had something on my mind that I just had to write about, and I figured you all would get it.
You know that thing that happens when you're deep into a manuscript? Chapter 1 feels amazing, you're in the zone... and then Chapter 12 feels like it was written by a completely different, much more tired person? I’ve been calling it a book’s "multiple personality disorder," and it drives me crazy.
Anyway, I wrote an article about it and a potential fix that's a bit out there: AI.
And I know, I know—my first reaction to using AI was probably the same as yours. It feels like it would strip the soul out of our work. But I stumbled upon a different way to use it: not as a writer, but as a "Style Guardian." The idea is that you teach it your own best style, and then it just helps you stay consistent. For me, that was a total game-changer.
The reason I'm sharing is that this idea got me so excited that I went looking for others who are using it, and I found this awesome free Skool group. It’s a whole community of authors digging into this stuff, and I thought it would be amazing to have some familiar faces in there with me.
It’s a great place to see how this works in practice, and through the group you can get a 7-day free trial for the Instant Author tool I mention in the article.
No pressure at all, but if you're curious, I'd love for you to join me in there.
Hope to see you in the group!
