🌱 Why Small Daily Goals Work 🌱
One of the best tricks that has helped me build a strong writing habit is setting an easy, approachable daily goal.
Take 500 words a day, for example😉. It’s not intimidating—you can usually hit that in under an hour.
But here’s the magic: once I'm in front of my laptop and the words are flowing, I'll often go beyond that number without even realizing it.
Small goals work because:
✅ They lower resistance—you don’t dread sitting down to write.
✅ They build momentum—writing consistently matters more than big word counts.
✅ They train discipline—showing up every day forms the habit.
Before long, the simple act of sitting down and hitting that small target will turn writing into a natural part of your daily rhythm.
And that’s how books get finished—one small, consistent step at a time. ✍️✨
