Jared Messer has created something truly special with WMA Connect. I don’t care for most social media platforms, but this one has a genuine sense of community. It’s a supportive, nurturing group of like-minded musicians who care more about building someone up rather than promoting themselves or their own agendas. I actually miss it when I can’t interact with the members here. And, after working a 60+ hour workweek staring at computer monitors all day, that’s the highest compliment I can give.

WMA is unlike other online platforms I’ve tried. Jared knows firsthand the learning curve on guitar and piano can be steep. He doesn’t just throw you into the deep end. He listens to suggestions and is willing to help along the way providing clear steps forward when you’re stuck. He has a beautiful gift of teaching along with a shepherd’s heart that wants us all to succeed. But hey, he and his team can only do so much you’re going to have to embrace the journey and practice!

WMA Connect is a great place to learn how to play worship music. Jared and the community are very welcoming and supportive. We are all learning similar techniques, so I have learned a lot from others questions. After trying to learn how to play worship music songs from watching online videos, it is SO helpful to have Jared explain what he is playing and why and give tips on the songs. Jared is a great teacher and has a true heart of worship and care for his students.

WMA Connect is a truly inspiring community of Christ-following musicians looking to improve their skills and connect with other worshipers. The atmosphere is encouraging, supportive and gracious. The resources are fabulous for musicians of varying skill levels, and Jared and other members have been very generous in sharing knowledge and responding to questions. WMA Connect has been just the prompt I needed to keep moving forward in my skill development.
