[MUST READ] Onboarding Guide/TO-DO-LIST - 6-week option crash course
1.We start from Feb.1 -- This 6-week we mainly focus on option trading strategies；
I share with you the most commonly used options strategy and our entire US stock investment system that as long as you follow the rule, you can set up 20%+ steady cashflow return system immediately.
I will not just talk about methods or theories, but also share with you real examples that you can follow (for educational purposes, not financial advice)
2.How to Learn Effectively:
- Set Your Intention: Make this learning a priority. This isn’t a "get rich quick" game, but I guarantee it is the most effective way to buy back your freedom. Make a plan, set your goals, and stick to the practice consistently.
- Join the Live Sessions: We will have 6 weekly sessions starting Feb 1st.
->Time: Every Sunday, 4:30 PM – 6:30 PM (Sydney Time).
->Platform: VOOV Meeting (ID: 439-0260-3570). Please make sure you have the VOOV app installed.
->Recordings will be uploaded here with lifetime access.
- Engage with the community:

3.Be Patient!
The heart of our approach is Long-Term Value Investing. You can become very wealthy with this system, but it won't be overnight, the key is your mindset.
Be patient. This is a marathon, not a sprint. Let the power of compounding do the heavy lifting for you.
Your first six months are about learning and understanding. Focus on building your 20% steady return system and training your mindset—don't rush to make "big money" yet. Think of it as building a canal. Once the canal is built, the water (wealth) will flow effortlessly and grow over time.
And it won't be looong.
4.Getting Your "Command Center" Ready 🛠️
(1) Pick Your Broker (If you don't have one now)
- IBKR (Interactive Brokers) - Low fees and they pay you high interest on your idle cash

(2) Funding Your Account:
Once your account is ready, you’ll need to fund it with USD.
If you’re converting currency (like AUD to USD), I recommend to use CurrencyFair. It’s the cheapest way I’ve found, and once you set it up, it’s super easy.

(3) Unlock Option Permissions (Level 3 or Higher)
To trade our strategies, you must enable Level 3 Option Permissions (or even level 4) in your account settings.
- Important Note: When filling out your profile, be generous with your "investment experience" and "net worth."
- Remember: By learning this system, you are essentially fast-tracking to 10 years of experience. Don’t be afraid to report high experience levels to ensure the broker grants you full access.

(4) Charting Tool: ThinkOrSwim (TOS)
Download the ThinkOrSwim Desktop App. It is widely considered the best charting platform for US stock in the world—far better than IBKR’s interface.
- Note: You only need to open a TOS (now part of Schwab) account to use the charts; you do not need to fund it. We analyze on TOS and execute trades on IBKR/TastyTrade.
- You can also use TradingView, but it's not for free.
5. Mandatory Reading
📚 "Rule #1 Investing" by Phil Town. (Check the Resources section for the e-book).
I learned this entire strategy directly from Phil and still have weekly sync-ups with him today.
This book is truly the "bible" of our value investing logic.
I’ll keep adding more resources into the community as we go!
For now, let’s make sure you’re 100% ready to hit the ground running on Feb 1st. Here’s your to-do list:
(1) Install VOOV meeting app and make sure it’s working.
(2) Save the Dates: Set a reminder for our live sessions—every Sunday at 4:30 PM Sydney time.

(4) Broker & Funding: Get your account open and funded. It’s okay to start with paper trading, but if you’re ready to execute live, 30k to 50k USD is a great starting point to build your freedom.
(5) Options Access: Apply for your Option trading permissions (at least level 3).
(6) Charting tool - TOS: open TOS account, and download the Thinkorswim desktop app.
(7) Read Phil Town’s "Rule #1 Investing - Phil Town", give yourself a timeline to finish it.
