📝 Task of the Week: Quick Market Analysis
Goal: See how many homes are listed vs. sold in a new area.
Steps: Go on Redfin or Zillow
1. Pick a city or ZIP code you haven’t studied.
2. Count active listings in past 90 days (homes currently for sale).
3. Count sold homes in the past 90 days.
4. Write 2–3 sentences summarizing what this tells you about the market.
Example:
“In 12345 ZIP code, 50 homes are currently listed but only 12 sold in the past 90 days.”
Deadline: Due by 5pm cst Thursday 09/25
Why This Matters:
• See real-world demand vs. activity in a neighborhood.
• Gain a first-hand understanding of market trends without complicated analysis.
