The Hook Is Everything
You could have the most helpful content in the world — and it won't matter if no one stops to watch or read it.
The hook is the first line of your caption, the first second of your video, the first words out of your mouth.
Its only job is to make someone pause and think "okay, I need to see where this goes."
Good hooks do one of three things:
  • Name a feeling your audience knows well ("I used to dread opening Instagram...")
  • Make a bold or surprising statement ("Posting every day is actually hurting your growth.")
  • Ask a question she's already asking herself ("What do you even post when you have no idea what to say?")
Your task today:
Write 3 different hooks for the same piece of content — one that names a feeling, one that's a bold statement, one that's a question.
You don't have to use all three. But practicing this trains your brain to lead with attention first.
Share your favorite one in the comments.
