Returning to consistent Meditation Practice
Lately I've let the responsibilities of the world take over my time, energy attention. Everything from my current Hybrid Athlete Journey to now trying to build a business and looking for work again now that I am unemployed... has caused me to put meditation to the side lately.
As a result, I have noticed I feel less connected to my higher self and am way more reactive and irritable.
Now i'm making a conscious effort to sit and meditate once before I start work, and once I finish work as signals that start and end my work day...
Another benefit I think could be that its a symbol that the work day is done and I don't have to carry these thoughts and problems into the night before bed.
Has anyone else faced phases in their life where meditation took the back seat and then found a way to return to practice?
