Elk scouting NW Colorado, one of my biggest tips when it comes to scouting for elk in NW Colorado is to cover ground and get to a high advantage point and don't be afraid to sit and glass take your time, search in grids by sectioning the area, and check in different directions on the same hillside. Never get frustrated when you don't see animals they are there I promise it's about looking in the right place at the right time.
