He had great reviews and 12 years in business. Stuck at position #7. Here's what two SEO audits missed.
A few months ago, a business owner reached out to us frustrated. Great Google reviews — 4.8 stars, over 200 of them. Quality work his customers rave about. 12 years serving the same city. But stuck at position 6-7 on Google while newer, less experienced competitors sat in the top 3. He'd already paid for two SEO audits. The first told him to "add more keywords to your service pages." The second told him to "build more backlinks." He did both. Nothing changed. So we ran a completely different kind of analysis. — Instead of checking keywords and backlinks, we evaluated his business the way Google actually evaluates it — as an entity. Here's the difference: Traditional SEO audits ask: "What's missing from this page?" We asked: "Can Google confidently resolve this business as the answer for this query?" Two very different questions. Two very different outcomes. — What we found wasn't a keyword problem. It wasn't a backlink problem. It was an entity coherence problem — and it showed up in 4 specific places: 𝟏. 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 His business name was spelled differently across 4 platforms. "Johnson's Plumbing" on the website. "Johnson Plumbing LLC" on Yelp. "Johnsons Plumbing" on Facebook. "Johnson & Son Plumbing" on the BBB listing. Google was looking at what appeared to be 4 different businesses — and splitting his authority across all of them. 𝟐. 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 His title tags promised expertise his content didn't deliver. Pages titled "Comprehensive Guide to Water Heater Repair" were 200 words of generic copy. Google tested the promise against the page — and learned his declarations were unreliable. Every time. 𝟑. 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐲 In 12 years of business, not a single journalist, blogger, local organization, or industry publication had ever mentioned him. The only links pointing to his site were directory listings he'd created himself. Google had zero independent confirmation that he was what he claimed to be. Meanwhile, his competitor had been mentioned in a local news article and featured on the city's chamber of commerce page. Two simple editorial mentions — and it was enough to tip the scale.

We analyzed 500+ local business queries. Here's why most local SEO audits are worthless.
This might ruffle some feathers, but I need to say it: Most local SEO audits are checking the wrong things. They count keywords. They check backlinks. They run PageSpeed Insights. They hand you a 10-page PDF full of red/yellow/green scores and say "fix these." And none of it answers the actual question Google is asking. Here's what I mean. Google stopped ranking pages a long time ago. It now resolves ENTITIES. When someone searches "best plumber in Phoenix," Google doesn't scan for keywords on your homepage. It asks one question: "Can I confidently recommend this business entity for this query?" If the answer is no — you're invisible. And the reasons it says no are almost never what traditional audits check. — After researching 500+ local business queries across plumbing, HVAC, landscaping, legal, dental, painting, electrical, and more — we found 6 patterns that kill local rankings over and over again: 𝟏. 𝐒𝐞𝐫𝐯𝐢𝐜𝐞 𝐃𝐢𝐥𝐮𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 You claim 15 services with equal weight. Google sees you as expert in nothing. The winners pick 2-3 specialties and go DEEP. 𝟐. 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐥𝐚𝐫𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐈𝐧𝐜𝐨𝐡𝐞𝐫𝐞𝐧𝐜𝐞 Your title tag says "Complete Guide to Water Heater Repair" but the page is 200 words of generic fluff. Google learns your declarations are unreliable. Every promise your titles make that your content doesn't keep ERODES trust. 𝟑. 𝐏𝐥𝐚𝐭𝐟𝐨𝐫𝐦 𝐅𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐦𝐞𝐧𝐭𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 "Smith & Sons Plumbing" on your website. "Smith and Sons Plumbing LLC" on Yelp. "Smith Plumbing" on Facebook. Google can't consolidate these into one entity. Your signals are split across what looks like 3 different businesses. 𝟒. 𝐀𝐬𝐬𝐨𝐜𝐢𝐚𝐭𝐢𝐨𝐧 𝐏𝐨𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐭𝐲 Not a single journalist, blogger, local organization, or industry publication has ever mentioned you. The only links pointing to you are directory listings you created yourself. Google has ZERO independent confirmation you are what you claim to be. 𝟓. 𝐓𝐞𝐦𝐩𝐨𝐫𝐚𝐥 𝐃𝐞𝐜𝐚𝐲 Last blog post: 2022. GBP posts: none in months. Review velocity: slowing. Every day your signals decay while your competitors' signals compound. Time is working against you.

🚨 Google Just Killed Q&A on Business Profiles... Here's What It Means For YOUR Business
If you're a local business owner relying on Google to bring you customers, listen up. Google has officially removed the Questions & Answers section from Google Business Profiles. You know — the section where you could post FAQs and answer customer questions directly? Gone. In its place? A new AI-powered feature called "Ask A Question" inside the Google Maps app. Here's the problem: Instead of YOU being the authority on your business... Google's AI is now scraping information from reviews, menus, your website, social media, and third-party platforms to answer questions about YOUR business FOR you. And if it can't find enough information? It tells potential customers: "I don't have enough information about this place." 😬 Guess what happens next? They scroll to your competitor who HAS that information. So what do you need to do RIGHT NOW? You need to feed Google's AI as much data as possible: ✅ Fully optimized Google Business Profile (categories, attributes, services, photos, videos) ✅ Detailed reviews with specific keywords about your services ✅ Updated website with FAQ content and local landing pages ✅ Active social media connected to your GBP ✅ 700+ local citations so Google finds your business EVERYWHERE ✅ Strong engagement signals showing Google your business is popular and trusted The businesses that take action NOW will dominate this new AI-driven search landscape. The ones that wait? They'll wonder why the phone stopped ringing. At Webido CTR, we've been helping 4,000+ local businesses stay ahead of Google's changes since 2019. Our More Customers Guarantee package ($297/mo) gives you: 🔥 Complete GBP optimization 🔥 700+ citations built and indexed 🔥 Strategic CTR campaigns (up to 100 daily clicks) 🔥 Daily activity generation 🔥 Weekly progress reports Results in 30-45 days — or your next month is FREE. 👉 Book a free 15-minute consultation: https://calendly.com/webido/ 👉 Learn more: https://webidoctr.com/more-customers-guarantee

🚨 Google Just Killed Q&A on Business Profiles... Here's What It Means For YOUR Business
🚨 BIG UPDATE: We Just Added Something INSANE to the "More Customers Guarantee" Package 🚨
I've got good news and "act fast" news. Let me explain both. THE GOOD NEWS: We just integrated DriveForge — our GBP Live Drives technology — into every More Customers Guarantee package. If you don't know what DriveForge is, here's the short version: Google doesn't just track who CLICKS on your listing. It tracks who actually DRIVES to your business. Real GPS driving signals are one of the most powerful local ranking factors — and almost nobody is leveraging them. DriveForge simulates the ENTIRE customer journey: ✅ Real GPS routes from starting points in your service area ✅ Actual driving on real roads via U.S. 5G mobile networks ✅ GPS arrival at your exact business address ✅ Realistic dwell time (like a real customer visit) ✅ Up to 60 simulated drives per month Google sees a steady stream of "customers" driving to your location → your "Popular Times" data improves → your local pack rankings go up → more REAL customers find you. This service retails for $120/month on its own. It's now INCLUDED in every More Customers Guarantee package. THE "ACT FAST" NEWS: Because of this major upgrade, the More Customers Guarantee is going from $297/month → $397/month starting March 1, 2026. BUT HERE'S THE THING: If you're already a client at $297 → you're locked in. No action needed. DriveForge is already being added to your account. You save $1,200/year compared to the new pricing. If you've been on the fence → you have until February 28th to lock in $297/month before it goes to $397. Same package. Same guarantee. $100/month less. But only if you move before March 1st. 🔗 Lock in $297/month: https://webidoctr.com/more-customers-guarantee 📅 Or book a call first: https://calendly.com/webido/ Our guarantee still stands: If you don't see improvement in 30 days, we work the next month FREE.
